Sthålm Media wanted something bold and simple to reflect their company values. Clear, minimal and straight to the point. It needed to work big as well as really small and be a clear identifier. The design approach follows the same lines of thought and are very direct and straight forward, almost to the point of being simplistic. We wanted to create a feel of as little as design as possible.

Bajen Club Sofia is a group of football fans from Southern Stockholm, documenting and passing on their view on the culture surrounding local athletic club Hammarby IF. A major purpose of the group is to rally support for different sections of the club if needed, or pay tribute to specific aspects of its history. BCS bring their own ideas to the table, most of the time mashups stuffed with references for the like-minded. We cooperate closely and my job has been refining ideas and execution.

Urban/Suburban is a project by Stockholm based photographer Christian Carvajal Johansson. We wanted a minimalistic look,  inspired by Stockholms architectural functionalism. It had to work well small to brand pictures without taking too much attention yet still be impactful on a larger scale.

The U/Su custom typeface was made to unite the project and keep the visual clutter to a minimum.

Jonas Rosén has played with grunge band Nancy’s Dead since the early 90’s, but have recent years experimented with a unbarked sound sung in Swedish. The first results of this project are singles Som det är followed by Pandemi.

In 2014 I was creatively in charge of ABBA’s 40th Anniversary and worked at Universal Music Creative Labs together with Mia Segolsson at Polar Music. We did everything from a (the worlds warmest) greeting card (book), releases, a Monopoly, typography posters, a photo book and all round communication surrounding the celebration.

Washstop is a eco friendly carwash without being more expensive. They needed to feel welcoming and natural and needed to work easily for people that haven’t used their service before.

The work included a graphic identity with an icon and wordmark, stationary, an app and the washing station itself, including machine interfaces.

Since ASD’s job is to point out potential societal problems we felt the exclamationmark works as an excellent replacement for the three i’s in their name.
